Falcon Punch & Keljet - Saturday Night

SATURDAY NIGHT
SATURDAY NIGHT
SATURDAY NIGHT
SATURDAY NIGHT

..... In 5 days but this tune makes it so much closer... This delicious little vibey track was a collaboration between up and coming producer Falcon Punch and established disco/synthy Dutch producers Keljet. It feels as good as being sandwiched by Miranda Kerr and Jennifer Anniston...

Hopefully a sign for things to come with these two producers, putting on a clinic here.

Frothy Friday

MMMMMM YES. Friday. Grandfinal Weekend Boom. Apart from the weather Vicco is lining up what should be an all time little weekend. Lets see if I can actually watch the game this year.. Usually dont give a fuck and just get involved with the froffie consumption and sunny rays... Yihaa.

Heres some absolute delicious tuneage for the froffie weekend. There are a couple of bangers in this edition so brace those feet and head nods cos they are catchy as all hell. First up a GTA remix of 'Fences' by Phoenix. This remix makes it a club hit.. sounds like Swedish House Mafia so it could feature in the early hours of the morning. Secondly is a spectacular track by the one and only Dj Falcon.. He da man.. All his work is beyond all time.. They consist of super french house dancey tracks that are a definite favourite of mine. This Louis la Roche Edit makes it a little punchier and better quality - keeps all the original flavour. Get it. Lastly is your standard main stream banger that is 100% better after some brewskis - One for the modern day punters... It includes  Arno Cost, Daft Punk, Adrian Lux. Adrain Lux has been smashing out the banger in his Parklife sets, so get around it.

Rogerseventytwo - Take Me Higher

Yes, its been posted way back.. In fact the first Frothy Friday (and even before that i was super hyped off this track), but I still cant get enough. Its a brilliant funky track that is a sure thing for any playlist. It's only just started to get recognised now, after two years, which is quite a shame because it is so so so so much better than any other house song!

So far there have been two separate versions released - The new one being released by Fools Gold.. Makes it more of a punter-ish song.. It only has subtle differences but i still am hands down frothing harder for the older. Get on the bastard now if you haven't already.

Cosmonaut Grechko Mash

Heres a cheeky little mashup. Not usually a fan but this is cool. Cosmonaut Grechko is generally pretty steeze with his remixes. He is what i would call a Russian Synth Enthusiast. Some slow, some fast. Seems like a versatile producer.... As a little bonus - following on from Daft Punk - Here is his remix of 'Too Long'.. Good Times.

Frothy Friday

Another instalment of killer vibes. Nothing to extreme but all super easy listening delicious, strutt like music. The Magician with a magical touch by Plastic Plates = froff overload. Yep. These two have been putting on clinics all year and now linking up through this tune they have created a new froffy favourite of mine. Get on board. Foster the People remix is pure cowbell genius. More cowbells mean more chance of making a super track.

Falcon Punch has a new edit.. If you dont remember i posted him way back with his tune 'Where You'll Stay' - It was amazing - and now he has done a nice, clean and stellar job on creating this little edit. Moulinex of course is a wizard and whatever he touches usually is top notch. And last but not least get your dosage of saturday night fever with this fantastic groovy track by Suzanne Kraft. Disco disco disco.. yew.

Frothn.

She - Easy Money (Pools Edit)

More lovely daytime disco. POOLS, not to be mixed up with Poolside, are your standard paradise-loving DJs. Residing from LA, pool party central, these lads bring together a whole bunch of chimes, synths and slow grooving beats to create a picturesque image of 12noon frothies by the pool. I like it. There new edit is of an 80s classic by She. Check it out, its reminiscence of 35 degrees and 1pm.

The men behind the scenes are Mike B & Dj Morsecode.. Check there Soundclouds (Click on the name).. They give away a heap of fun tunes. There is a nice lil biggie mash also here to tantalise the taste buds.

Frothy Friday

Yo. This week has been a fucking huge week on the music scene. Sadly we have seen the loss of one if its leaders and very talented artists. Dj Mehdi 34, who has been in the game for such a long time now sadly passed away this week due to an 'accident.' All best wishes to family and friends. His legacy of steezy french tunes will forever live on..

Anyway, here is a great dosage of frothy vibes. The Fingerman edit samples Dj Medi's banger tune 'Signature' and does so epically. This bloke is very unknown to myself, but i like what his doing. Edits are the key. Onto the next, Hannulelauri and Runaway (Remixed by Slow Hands Half Full)are your standard 112BPM tracks. Daytime Disco - bongos / cow bells / ALL TIME.. This shits my favourite. And lastly an absolute classic in everyones books Notorious BIG - 'Juicy'.. Remixed by Doctor Dru & Adana Twins. This tune is a must for any low key set so make sure you jump on board.

Pretty Lights

Heres a man who can mash, produce, remix, edit almost any genre on the planet..

Not a fun of dubstep - as some of you may have figured - but everything else this man does is a frothy masterpiece. With so many electro bangers and shit around the place at the moment it is good to see someone going out their to try something different. 'Electro hip hop soul', as Pretty Lights puts it, gets the feet moving and keeps the energy alive with a vast array of cutting-edge party rocking beats. He gives away everything for free at Pretty Lights Music and off course donations are welcome - dont be a stooge.

In every single set I have played I can guarantee you this Jay Z / B.I.G song has been featured. Get around it - its a fucking gem. Old now, but good.. And as for 'Finally Moving' - get your hands on it. The vocals have recently been used in the Avicii summer banger 'Levels', however this is better. Much more chilled and easy listening. The James Brown touch is practically the same - just a little faster and better quality (320)
