Goldroom is continually impressing and making/remixing an abundance of amazing fresh summer chunes. The list is ever growing and remains high in the pecking order of my playlists. Get around his latest remix of the new Gigamesh track 'Red Light'::: yew
Seriously cannot get enough of anything to do with Flume. His style is absolutely flawless. Every song has the most outstanding tropical vibes. His doing things that are different and its working better than chicken and avocado.
After his amazing debut EP 'Sleepless' (Get it here), the 19-year old talented producer continues to impress with this super chilled, super steeze remix of up and coming sydney band New Navy.
Crack a froff, grab a chick and kick back beachside to this amazing track.
Shook can do no wrong. His remix of Fallulah is sublime- the loops are super fun. Teki Latex... pffft. How am i late (Blog years) on this track??? Its SBTRKT all over. Listen to it you wont be disappointed - 'Girl whats your zodiac' Lyrics are the bees knees... As for the Pharoa Black Magic's remix on Walter Sobcek.. Smoooother than a nice cocktail made by George Clooney.
And for something completely different.... GINUWINE - PONY... yep theres your spanner in the works folks. memory lane how are ya.
.....Something that flows an excessive dosage steeze.
The Bixel Boys have recently released a website unlike any other before.. Rather than your standard music blog with endless mp3s these lads have expanded their horizons and showcased the two best things in life tunes and babes. The website, which they call 'The Bixel Collection', works like a picture booklet - each girl has a page and a tune - They compliment each other.
Go check it out for the babes, or the amazing array of slow tempo groovy vibes.
get your mittens on this fruitful dosage of frothy friday..
Gigamesh is standard - amazing... David Heartbreak is a super song that got previewed in the 'magic 15' mixtape... The Leo Zero remix is a sick little song that i feel is constantly building - lots of bongos and pianos - i like it. The last 2 minutes is all time when it breaks into the chorus... Lastly a band from Sydney Jubilants (getting hype from JJJ) who has been remixed with a nu-disco poppy feel by the Dublin Aunts.
One for the punters.. Bit of cheese for your weekend ey.
Avicii is still getting all crazy responses for his track 'Levels'.. Every cat plays the song.. However here is a little mashup with an Australian feel on it.. Its ok.. But when Cassian tweets saying the he likes that song and its a 'weapon' ill believe him.
Heres a little belated post.. weekend was hectic..
To remind me of these times and get me through these amazing summer days - Vicco putting on a clinic - here are a bundle of funk, housey tunes. Yew
SBTRKT cant go wrong, this remix by Siavash only makes it mixable. Good outcome as it didn't wreck or disregard the original.
This Luther Vandross edit by Hey Champ could be a NEW FAVOURITE of mine. Catchy as all hell and reaps strutting down a street with ladies attached. Get around it. YEAH YEAH YEAH
Next up a lad - TOBTOK - who is quite new to the scene but getting lots of love for this little mash between a Grum classic and a funky Klique track... Previously i have posted his remix of 'Move your feet' - CLAASSSIICC - get it here - And once again its quite the impressive little tune.
She Said Disco - one of the great names. These guys froth off slow summery tunes.. Just the way the i like it. Enjoy this little chilled banger. Its so right now.
Here is an oldish tune by Housse De Racket with a little jungly take on it by Hemingway .. Good little combo of artists so and pleases the ear drums.
Yeah get on these aussie lads if you haven't already... There new EP 'Uluwatu' is filled with sunshine and happy vibes...
If you would like a sandwich with 'Two Door Cinema Club', 'Foals', 4ft offshore perfect waves & Miranda Kerr then you will love this.. I can see a bright future ahead.
*Also attached is a remix of 'Zimbabwe' by Lancelot
some frothy vibes here venturing into the 100-106BPM range... includes some kinda robbie williams tune... uh oh... Made it for a bit of fun so I can play it during the day poolside/at work/ with a froff... Its kinda like a collaboration of fun tropical summery chunes, with a few randoms thrown in to keep your mum and dad happy.
It might only be on par with a ripe avocado, there pretty good.
